Was the FAU coach fired?

 

Lane Kiffin is a great OC but has spotty success as a HC.

Yes, Coach Partridge was let go right after the season ended.

Herbstreit would not reval the school, which was widely reported Friday as Florida Atlantic, nor the reason talks broke down.

He wasn't very successful at any of those postions, he might think he's worth more than anyone is willing to pay.

I think lane would be smart to just get an OK job in the NFL. Stick with a team for a few years and produce. Show that he can be stable and reliable and then try to get a head coach gig from there.


He's a brilliant offensive mind but his reputation for jumping ship is hurting him.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
