That's correct. Caldwell covered that in the press conference. He claimed that they don't even know and haven't talked to him.

I don't know if the NFL suspending him and having full control of Blackmon's situation has anything to do with whether or not all team communication is limitied with him.

 

I read somewhere when a multiple offender is down to his last strike, the player while serving his suspension is under the control of the league.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

Hopefully he's in rehab getting his life together. It would be such a shame to see his talent wasted, but it's all on him at this point.

Probably the best thing that could be done. His counterparts are still living the good life because they have not made poor decisions while drinking. They are all still allowed to live as  normal adults and enjoy drinking and partying. He can't even have a beer during a golf match or fishing trip. Lot of temptation hanging with the team. I would think the league would make available access to some of the best help available to him.
