Fsu backs

#1

I'm really starting to think devontee freeman and James wilder jr are both gone after this season at fsu. Both are completely two deficient backs but I could defiantly see some potential and value from where I personally think they will be drafted. Any thoughts?

Wilder is almost certainly leaving. At least that is the "chatter" FSU people keep hearing. Freeman will come back IMO. Wilder would be wise to leave, because Karlos Williams will be taking a lot of his carries next year.

Excited to see Karlos in an expanded roll next year. Talent wise, he should be the #1 RB.

Our backfield is going to be stacked next year.

It could possibly look like:

Freeman

Wilder (if he stays)

Williams

Pender (if he can get his academics in order)

Ryan Green

Dalvin Cook (should be committing to FSU next Thursday at the Under Armour game)

Wilder will probably go pro and won't be missed. As an NFL back, I don't think he'll be a high pick. Probably could be had in the 4th or 5th round. Just not much of a market for backs anymore. Karlos Williams will be a stud next year.

Yupp I think if wilder and freeman come out there looking around 4-5th round picks I wouldn't mind seeing either one of them in a jags uniform. Freeman has good not great speed with some power you wouldn't expect and also catches the ball out of the backfield very well and wilder is a freak of nature athletically that will hardly ever go for a loss of yards but lacks break away speed

FWIW, Karlos Williams is a Junior. He may be declaring eligibility for the 2013 Draft.

I have read that pro scouts expect James Wilder, Jr. to enter this next draft.

Freeman is also a Junior and likely to declare as well. In fact, he may work up into round one. At 5' 9" 203 Lbs. he could. (There aren't a lot of RBs this year. Somebody is going to pick one early)

I'd take Freeman over Wilder. Wilder looks slow in hitting the hole. He reminds me of Jamie Harper. Freeman on the other hand, looks like a playmaker who can do some good things if you get the ball in his hands.

Karlos is not leaving, and Freeman is not a first round running back.

Wilder isn't very good at all. Very little chance he would even beat out Todman for legit carries. Freeman and Karlos are legit however I like them both a fair amount.

He isn't bad. He's not going to run away from anyone obviously, but he'll wear a defense out over the course of a game. He has good vision, balance, and is a good receiver out of the backfield.

No way Karlos is leaving he is going to come back and be the number 1 back and watch his draft stock sore for his senior year
