He's a decent backup to come in for a game or 2, but I wouldn't want him as our full time starter.
It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

Agreed. I would rather have him than Chad Henne.

Quote:There really isn't much out there in terms of vets to push Blake. These are the most likely candidate:

Tony Romo

Jay Cutler

Colin Kapernick

Nick Foles

Robert Griffin

Mike Glennon

Brian Hoyer

Ryan Nassib

Tyrod Taylor - Highly unlikely

Kirk Cousins - Even more unlikely

Jimmy Garoppolo

AJ McCarron

Brett Hundley

Am I forgetting anyone?

RG3, Nassib, Taylor, Garoppolo, McCarron, and Hundley...I'd be interested in all of these guys.  They're all young enough and could serve as a nice stopgap.

McCarron would make me a happy fan.

The only problem with Nassib is that he's one of the worst QBs in the league.

I agree.

I would like to see a list of all QBs "worse" than Bortles.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
