Assuming Bridgewater is off the board, which QB would you take?

Bridgewater is the guy I'd like to have, but it seems unrealistic that he'll fall to us. After Bridgewater, you have a group of solid QB prospects in Bortles, Carr, and Manziel. If we were to take a QB with our pick, which one of those guys would you take?

Carr if Teddy is gone. Bortles is a good prospect too. Manziel is a little bit of a reach at 3.

For me Bridgewater>>>>>>>>>>Hundley>Bortles>>>Boyd

Bortles and/or Fales. I am struggling to see how Manziel will make the transition

In the first round?  Nobody else.

In the second round, there's a few guys I'd take a stab at: Bortles, McCarron or Mett (though I'd prefer him in 3rd)...

Why take Mettenberger that high? I doubt he goes before a day 3 pick after the ACL.

IMO, he was a 2nd rounder, even if perfectly healthy.

I think he'd be a good risk in the third or fourth for a team with a veteran QB that can "redshirt" him. Might be an idea for New Orleans, Pittsburgh or Arizona.

In that situation, you might be right.

Not sure I'd want the Jags giving up their 3rd rounder for him, though. Undecided, leaning towards no.

Probably not a good idea here with our QB situation.

I feel bad for Mettenberger. That injury probably cost him millions.

I could see him going to Arizona. Palmer playing a couple more years then Mettenberger being their guy.

If somehow we take a qb because teddy is gone and say we win this weekend and pick around 6 I may take a chance at Johnny football! I was a huge hater on him because he does just throw it up for grabs sometimes but the kid does make plays, not even looking at the business spike he would bring to Jacksonville and no I am not a tebow fan lol he does need some work in the pocket but you don't go to New York 2 years in a row because you can't play. Kid has talent and in Jed Fisch's offense could be exciting to watch

Id take Manziel over all of them, including Teddy.  Manziel is going to bring the attitude and swagger this team desperately needs.  Gone are the days of Blaine Gabbert lacking any sort of intensity trying to lead this team.

This team needs a nfl quality qb....not a cheerleader. ..just say no to johnny ego.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

I'd take Manziel over piece of [BLEEP] Carr, but I would not take Manziel over Bridgewater.

My qb list would go

1. Bridgewater

2. Bortles

3. Manziel

then Carr, McCarron, Mettenberger in no particular order
