You need a lobotomy. 14 years in NYC ruined you.

It's so telling that you think "25 miles" was the point.

Playing golf instead of working was the point.

The intensive care beds in NYC came close to running out, but didn't. The patients sent back to nursing homes no longer needed intensive care, and could have been put in regular hospital beds, in the Comfort, or in one of (at least) two emergency overflow facilities. They could also have been moved to hospitals in other parts of the state.

If you want to claim Trump should have done some things the CDC didn't recommend, then I'll agree with you, but don't try to claim that anyone else would have done them.

If you want to point out a specific action by Trump that went against the advice the CDC experts were giving at the time I'd like to hear it. Please provide dated links.

Here is the CDC report from February 24th. That's a lot less that "3 months" from the beginning of the lockdown.

HAHAHA!

That may be the lamest, weakest line of indoctrinated horse [BLEEP] I've ever read. LOL

So you can't point out anything the CDC suggested that Trump didn't do. Who's the lame one now?

He disbanded a task force specifically designed to prepare for a pandemic and ignored advice from the CDC and his own appointees for months. LOL

Several countries have adopted much more extreme measures to protect their population than did the US under thr Trump admin.

I sat on his tiny little hands and then took a few half measures. People have died as a result.

First one was clearly sour grapes by some report authors who didn't get their names published.

The second one is the same as the first but clearly is upset that Trump didn't mandate uniform requirements to all 50 States. You know, they are pissed he didn't overstep his authority except if he did then he'd be the reincarnated combined spirits of history's 50 greatest monsters.

Third one is opinion about how bad ol' Trump just won't listen to the expert advice that he keeps implementing.

He issued guidelines to the state governors.  He left out massive amounts of recommended guidelines that he could have included whether state governors follow/implement all of them or not. Non-essential travel was a big one that he glossed over almost completely. It was a shirking of responsibility to protect citizens that he shelved to focus on reopening whether we were ready or not.  (we weren't)

You're focusing on tone and source instead of actual information.

See, that's what you should have done the first time rather than just resort to an insult like a good Leftist always does. But then you are a good Leftist, aren't you?

I have no idea whether or not those articles (all three discuss the same non-released document) are accurate or not. I'll let you address FSG's comments on that matter.

I will say that the USA has a different governmental structure than other countries, and that individual state governments are in charge of "measures." Would you rather have Trump act as a dictator and override the state governments?

I'd rather Trump act in the interest of the American people instead of in the interest of Donald Trump.

So what you're saying, to be clear, is that President Trump sat down with a Sharpie, read those reports and blacked out the portions of the document he didn't want sent out. Then he created a new document with his personal notes and revisions and sent that to the Governors as their guide book on how to do their jobs. Ok.

And we were ready then and still are now. This waffling will do nothing but further damage to livelihoods and the economy.

So why didn't you link the document earlier instead of the Leftist commentary?

You do realize that after the May 7th articles the infection rate continued dropping, up until the protest marches (and for the two weeks afterwards that it takes the infection to show up). There was nothing bad that happened until more than a month after every state governor had a chance to read the leaked document.

And now it becomes clear. You want Trump to become a dictator, except when you want to criticize him by calling him a dictator. Maybe you want him to overstep just so you have a basis to criticize him. Got it!

Holy [BLEEP].
The link was listed early in the first article I provided you.
I'm not going to spoon feed you here.

And then you just weakly mischaracterize my prior statement about the president's responsibility to the American people by putting words in my mouth.

yawn

He was provided with a slew of guidelines based upon extensive research by the CDC and opted to water it down to something that suited his reopening agenda.
I'm not saying "be a dictator" I'm saying provide scientifically backed guidelines instead of the weak ones that put more Americans in harm's way (as evidenced over the past week of spikes following reopenings.)

It wasn't the guidelines (or the watering them down) that had anything to do with this past week's spike. To make that claim is a flat-out lie. The governors all has access to the full document nearly two month's ago.

And "scientifically-backed guidelines" have been all over the place since this started. There was no scientific consensus. That's because this was an unknown quantity. In fact it still is. Everyone has been shooting blind. Some countries have locked down, some haven't. We're still not even sure if the lock down was worth it. More people may die because of the lock down than the lives saved from it.

Despite Left's Fear Mongering, Consumer Confidence Rises in June

U.S. consumer confidence rose in June, reflecting the partial reopening of the country.

LOL ..... you do realize the Dems are getting the richest off of the market given the highest salaries in the US are in the cities of NYC, Boston, San Fran, LA, and Chicago.

Crazy thing is the Trump loyalists in the midwest, rust belt, and the deep south are getting buried in a recession while the Dems prosper !!!

Dude. Nothing in that video was that bad. Mostly speaking errors and people taking lines out of context. Some of that stuff like the war of 1812 and the bit about Andrew Jackson, I don't see anything wrong with it. I assume it's there to trick people who know nothing about history.

Nothing in that video is "that bad" as long as it's just someone who would simply be unable to get a job as a 6th grade substitute teacher.

Unfortunately, that idiot without a clue duped 63 million Americans.
