I would expect that when the speeding ticket was given to a potential #1 overall draft pick and his speed was 110 mph.

DUI is a big deal.

Speeding just isn't imo.

If it's a one time issue sure.  If coupled with other poor decision making it tells you a lot about the kid.  He needs to learn better judgement but a one time thing is no big deal at all.

Well, both potentially put other people on the road at risk. I'm not really sure what's more dangerous - driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.081 or driving 40 miles an hour over the speed limit.

Yea if he is speeding like that in a 40 speed limit zone, it was a 70 speed limit zone, on the highway people are always going way over 70 in those places, which is pretty fast to began with.

Barr is better IMO. Only been playing LB for a little bit and is raw. INCREDIBLY fast, has good pursuit and is a hard hitter. Perfect LEO candidate. Might not have  good hand technique, though. No off-field concerns as far as I know.

If speeding is an off field concern, then  95% of the players has off field issues

I'm referring to his lack-of-effort, injury concerns, and possible big-headed-ness. I could care less about speeding.

I can't wait for a pro scout to write the report with the tongue in cheek Clowney demonstrates outstanding speed.  :teehee:

Some team will over-draft Clowney, and the rest of the NFL will actually block him. Something that wasn't necessarily so in college.

Then what?

Listen, I watch Clowney videos to scout Kelcy Quarles. That's about it.
