Kennedy Pola

He's now the new running backs coach at UCLA. He was the RB's coach back when Fred and MJD were the best combo in football. How is he not with an NFL Team? Great hire for Mora and the crew!

I really wish the organization would have found a way to keep him around. I always felt like he had a very good grasp of the Offense as a whole, and not just the RB spot.

Best of luck to the man moving forward.

If I remember right, he was upset he got passed over for the OC job one of the times it was open.

I thought he simply left because his future with the team was in doubt, and the Jags went ahead and hired Earnest Byner afterwards.

I remember the Jags and Titans switching RB coaches.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Yeah, I remember it that way as well. I always wanted Pola to be "groomed" so to speak and get promoted from within for continuity's sake as well as keeping talent within the organization.

Oh well, Gus will just have to find someone as good or better I guess.

LOL, so shocked.

Dude was overrated.

Now he's holding the same position at the college level that he held at the NFL level.

Gus wanted him?

You don't teach Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew how to run the football. You just stand on the sideline, smile, and give 'em sugary hugs when they come off the field.

This is almost as crazy as crediting "Alibl" Jack Del Rio for developing Ray Lewis and Peter Boulware.

Not sure if you're trying to stir something up or not. But regardless nobody gave credit to anybody. How about you go back and read the OP again. And next time try to refrain from putting words in my mouth...... Thanks meat.

Not that I'm aware of, no. I was trying to say that I want Gus to find coaches for his staff that are as good or better than Pola.

You just gave Kennedy a thread, claiming Pola had something to do with the success of Taylor and Jones-Drew, and I just pointed out some stuff.
