George Selvie

He's having a nice year in Dallas, maybe we jumped the gun letting him go? He's got 6 sacks so far.

Good for him but he's on his fifth team in five years. He actually was on the Bucs roster this summer and they cut him.

It looks like it's too bad that Gus didn't have a chance to coach him up. He likely would have brought out the talent as well.

Just because a player is having a good year somewhere else doesn't mean he would have a good year here.

Everytime the Cowboys have a national televised game, you can guarantee there will be a Selvie thread.

Why are you saying this the day after he was flagged twice for roughing the passer? The only things I remember him doing last night are hitting Josh McCown's lower legs and helmet.

This thread would have made sense after a good game in September.

I didn't even watch MNF, only reason I made this thread was because I was looking at the Cowboys defensive stats. He's still had a better season than anyone on our line, except Marks.

Then you missed a great game. The Cowboys showed how important Justin Durant is by not being able to stop the Bears without him. Another former Jaguar, Adam Podlesh, never punted.

Justin Durant is a joke.

He wasn't at the beginning of the season. Justin Durant has been a starter since Week 1.

Not as good as Marks with Bradley. GIven the turnaround from Branch and the rise of Ryan Davis id say this staff is pretty good at working with D-lineman.

I agree with PF* id like to have seen Selvie coached by bradley given the progress we've seen from Branch and Ryan Davis in terms of pass rushing.

Also Durant is a decent player.

Branch seems to be up and down to me. I still can't figure out if he is a boom or bust pick.
