Eli rode a great defense and running game, paired with a a couple of hot streaks to his two super bowls. If you look at his career statistics he's an average QB. He's not even good enough to hold his brothers jock strap.

Who cares if he doesn't have the same stats? He has been fantastic in the 4th quarter of important games and led a Super Bowl winning last-minute scoring drive against arguably the best regular season team in NFL history. I don't understand all the hate on this guy. He is a great quarterback who thrives under pressure.

It does not matter how good your wide receivers are if your quarterback can't scramble out of the pocket, throw the ball on the run, and put it right where it should be caught.

The Bears are leading 27-14 with around 11:20 remaining in the 3rd QTR.   Not one time up to that point in the game did the Cowboys prevent the Bears from scoring points on a drive.   The Cowboys had the ball at the Bears 41 yard line,  in a 4th and 4 situation.   Garrett foolishly elects to punt!   Not surprising to anyone but Garrett and maybe one or two other people in the entire country,  the Bears marched down the field with an 85 yard TD drive.  That ended the game for all practical purposes,   with the Bears converting on their attempt to go for 2 points on top of everything else.

Justin Durant practiced last week but was on the Game Day Inactive List for the game at Chicago.  It's likely that the Cowboys brass didn't feel that Durant was healthy enough to be one of the team's top 46 options.
