Shanahan

Do we pick up one of them as an OC or keep Fisch?

Until Mike Shanahan says he is quitting or Dan Snyder fires him, don't think for a second about it. Jedd Fisch will be the OC in Jacksonville until further notice.

Keep Fisch.

No thanks to the Shanahan's.  At this point Fisch's job may be safe.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

LOL @ "keep Fisch"....

The Jags currently have the 32nd offense in the league and "keep Fisch"... Laughing

I'll say this though, I would persue Kubiak as an OC rather than persue either Shanahan for OC.

No to Kubiak. His PA passing scheme with one cut and go running scheme is as phony as it gets. It's part of the reason why we have a better record than Houston, is cause they finally got exposed for the phonies they are.

The Jags are ranked last in the league in total offense and as soon as MJD and Sanders throw 2 innovative TD passes the response is: "Keep Fisch".

I'm sorry, but even as a Jags fan myself, I will admit that we have some of the most gullible fans in the league.

So it has nothing to do with the crap at QB?

Something, not EVERYthing.

Fisch should take plenty of justified blame.

I'd pursue a lot of OC's other than either Shanahan.

Not a fan of Fisch still.  But I think with 4 wins, his job is probably safe.  Everyone will say it's the right decision, it's players not plays.  They'll remind everyone of Koetter. But I still think we should get a better OC.  I think we'll have Fisch here for a while now.  Hope he's worth it.

....which exactly why it's refreshing to find him using innovative ways to score.

Fisch gets an incomplete grade in my book and if he's not back next year I'd be shocked.

I think you'll see a little bit of turnover in the assistant coaches but the vast majority of the group will be back.

I'd upgrade Fisch, but I'd doubt Bradley will. He strikes me as the loyal type. I don't see any of his assistants let go after this season.

I wouldn't even peruse Kubiak, let alone persue him, as you say...

Did you really think Kubiak had nothing to do with the Broncos having a great offense? The Broncos did not have a "phony" running scheme. They had multiple 1,000-yard rushers.

That said, it is important to note his supervisor in Denver was Mike Shanahan.

But would anybody pursue him?

My sig says to get the QB and everything else will work itself out....

That doesn't mean that you just keep bad coaches around. The "working itself out" means that you'll still be upgrading the area that need it as time goes on, but having the right QB is the most important piece.

I took it as, if you don't have the QB, you don't have a chance, we don't even have a game manager at QB, so I don't get why so critical of Fisch

I agree with whoever posted that it's an incomplete grade until we upgrade that position
