Harassed boyfriend jumped to his death after his girlfriend insisted on going into another clothes shop

A man jumped to his death after a furious row with his girlfriend who insisted they go into another clothes shop.

CCTV shows Tao Hsiao, 38, escorting his girlfriend around a shopping mall in Xuzhou, Jiangsu

province, east China.

After five hours Tao finally had enough and demanded to go home.

So if we ever go to war with China, we just need to send Gap salespeople in with the infantry..

Here's a novel idea...just leave her at the mall to shop alone instead of jumping to your death!!

I'm just guessing here....but I'm thinking Tao had some other issues beside just a bad day at the mall.

Would have been more satisfying to chuck the bags over the balcony and hit the floor running.

Where's Tao?

Oh, he's dead.  Check out the new shoes I got on sale.

You think she noticed anything besides the shopping bags hitting the floor?

More like "Tao? He was here a minute ago. If he doesn't get his cheap Christmas hating self back here soon, I'm going to make him wish he were dead!"

Have any of you seen the malls in China? They're huge. Walking around in a building for all those hours with that much floorspace must have been agony for him.

Oh yeah, because normal people just jump to their death when they have a bad day at the mall.

I am pretty sure she is suggesting that there were other things going on in his life that contributed to his actions.

The real question is why wasn't Tao home doing math problems or solving algorithms.  Such an underachiever.

They had already been shopping for FIVE HOURS. That would drive just about any guy absolutely insane. Not to mention that the guy was probably just dragged around to carry his girlfriend's six dozen new pairs of shoes.

And that's worth killing himself over? She must have held a gun to his head while shopping...forcing him to go with her!!

And you say five hours like its a bad thing!! Tongue

You asked why he was at the mall. He was probably dragged there by his "dear" to be a pack mule and nothing more. Since you're so willing to speculate that he has issues, I'd speculate that she was the issues. Only a [BAD WORD REMOVED] would refuse to go home after her boyfriend had already spent five hours carrying her bags around.

Yeah...it was all her fault he decided to kill himself rather than just leave her [BLEEP] at the mall!!

This chick should date that Tommy guy. I'm sure he wouldn't mind shopping for shoes.
