We'll actually have a fairly good shot at the playoffs

Ravens 6-6
Dolphins 6-6
Titans 5-7 <-- Playing Broncos today, might as well mark this one off lol
Steelers 5-7
Chargers 5-7
Jets 5-7

Playoff teams are automatically slotted at the end of the draft regardless of record.

If this team gets into the playoffs, it's a full blown conspiracy..

They can still win an additional game, assuming we win out.

I think the Chargers had a pretty high pick in 2008? and made the playoffs. Thats why the format got changed. Seahawks would have picked #8 in 2011 I believe if they hadn't gone to playoffs, and since they won a game they went to like 25.  That was a good rule change IMO.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

And just to think,  a month ago we were bemoaning the very real possibility of a winless season.

If we win out, no, we won't. This week has been "worst case scenario" for the Jags playoffs hopes with both Baltimore and Miami winning. If the Chargers win as well, we'd need three teams to lose out for it to be a possibility.

Miami won.  Doesn't that end this whole convo?

Wild wild finishes in those 3 AFC games - Pats, Fins and Ravens all with improbable finishes.  Pats got a gift INT call, tho.

Jags playoff hopes dashed yet?  We should beat the Bills next week.
