Todd Mills, Man Whose Doritos Taco Idea Made Taco Bell $1 Billion But Who Never Saw A Penny, Dies At 41

The man who came up with the idea for Taco Bell’s billion-dollar “Doritos Locos Taco” passed away from brain cancer on Thanksgiving day, without ever receiving a cent from the fast-food chain — and never asking for one.

A couple things....

Surprised it really took up to a few years ago for someone to bring that idea forward....seems like simplistic an idea that should have come up at least once before over the last 30 years....

and 2. .....this guy is credited with the idea and Taco Bell as gratitude donated "$1000." for his cancer treatment??.....seems kinda low-ball considering that - a. this guy's idea reportedly made Taco Bell/ the company that owns Taco Bell up to a billion dollars and b. cancer treatments are very expensive, the $1000, probably didn't go far....

and 3. .... jeeez, 41?? smh, thats sad...much too young to pass on.
