Jags are 30th in this week's NFL.com Power Rankings

Who ever thought that being 30th in the league could feel so good? The Jags bump up 2 spots and sit at 30th right above Atlanta and Houston.

IMPROVEMENT!!!

On the real though, the Browns have a pretty good defense. It will be a tough game.

We're definately headed within the right direction. Progress can be seen for miles. Bradley is sticking to his guns while keeping the team on tract and it's showing...

ESPN power poll moved us up to 31st.

We're wedged between Atlanta and Houston, two playoff teams last season. All are 2-9.

Guess they're both liking what they see and are attempting to re-load at QB?

Which of those two is most likely to actually want to draft a needs QB? Which would dump their veteran after the draft? Would we be interested in their trash?

Fixed incorrect ranking.

So were we putting Gabbert back in before we hand Teddy over to Houston?

Are we going to keep giving quarterback as the pat answer to all of our problems?

Why not draft the best player available and keep building the franchise? Let the Falcons or Texans take a risk on Bridgewater. They won't pull a Gene Smith and cut their veteran. If they do, we claim him.

Shaub or Matt Ryan is a pretty decent deal. All you really need at quarterback to win a Super Bowl is for a quarterback to play great that one year. Elway, Bradshaw, Manning are a once in a generation kind of ride.

We have no track record at all for developing NFL quarterbacks...ever.

How does an injured Clowney who shows up for only half the game fix our offense? Newsflash, our offense has been the bigger problem for years, especially at the QB position. Schaub is nearly as useless as Henne, and Falcons will never waive Ryan

You are reading too much into draft hype.

The scouting process does not consist of reading the draft guru stuff. It's often laced with sports agent shill matter.

Watch the Combine and scour your own pet resources before you suggest whatever.

We aren't even near next year.

We resist the urge to purge. You missed the point about stabilizing the QB position. Shaub plays in an offense that is totally injured. The franchise in Houston has been thinned out. We got how many former Texans in town ourselves?

Gabbert is fine. As Caldwell said something like for practical reasons, this is his rookie year. Are you going to split hairs with that?

If someone told you we'd be ahead of ATL and HOU at the beggining of the season, you'd probably think that would mean we'd be a #1 or #2 seed in the playoffs.
