Not really.  I hate country music anymore, but I like saying that.

Is one song really enough for you? Surely you should use a playlist.

You gotta play Power Hour with a new song every minute son. That's how the champs do it.

If you got a few extra minute, check out this version:

Incredible cover of Cortez by one of my all-time favorite bands. Stay to the end for full-blown, rock your face off experience.

The singer of Built To Spill, Doug Martsch, is sort of obsessed with Neil Young.

They do it justice.

Doesn't that get awkward when you and your boys are sitting around drinking?

What if that's the point?

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Doug Martsch even sounds a little bit like Neil Young.

Not at all.

I just imagine that with a group of them the potential for jealousy and/or romantic misleadings could occur.

He does, for sure. They put their own sound into the song, though, without disrespecting the original, IMO.

Some of my friends I have turned onto BTS have complained that Doug's voice is too whiny. It may be an acquired sound. I love Doug Martsch. I think he is a great song writer and a severely underrated guitarist.
