I hate to be this guy again but....

Ricky Stanzi. Ricky Stanzi. Ricky Stanzi. He's the best QB on the roster and it's not close. As Shorts said today, I can't hold my tongue anymore....even though I haven't been holding my tongue at all about it all season.

I was impressed that we managed a passing touchdown today though.

Alright, back up that Ricky Stanzi is the best QB on the roster.  Go on.  And if you say he can't be worse than Gabbert/Henne, then you get flogged.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Here are Stanzi's NFL stats.

Scintillating.

Enjoy the next five weeks of having Stanzi as third string. Then his career will be over. Hopefully you can handle it.

You want me to back up that Stanzi is better than Gabbert and Henne?

Above are their stats in college. Those, compounded with Gabbert and Henne's terribleness as NFL quarterbacks should be enough, especially considering how the other two managed to somehow get worse as their careers went on.

Or if you wanted to compare how they fared against the best defenses, just look at their record against top 25 teams, top 10 teams, in bowl games, against SEC teams, or just watch any random game of each of them and deduce from common sense that Stanzi has always been the better quarterback BY FAR.

I would bring up the fact that Stanzi played in an NFL type system at one of the best probably 3 or 4 colleges at producing NFL talent, but I'll admit that Henne's college wasn't bad at that either.

But also, yes, Stanzi couldn't possibly be worse. These two are so bad it kills me inside. They've always been bad, they'll always be bad. I mean, at least Stanzi is an NFL style QB who is cool in the pocket. If he sucks (which he won't) he at least won't be sad to watch like the other two.

If that happens (which I'm sure it will, given we have probably the worst coaching staff in the NFL) then at least he'll go out as a big question mark. At least people won't list him on "worst NFL QB's in history" lists, like they will the other two.

Those are Teddy Bridgewater's NFL stats as well. He must be trash too, then.

It's like you guys like that we're an embarrassment or something.

Well I guess he has that going for him, which is nice

Still a better stat line than Gabbert.

We should start Stanzi. At Safety.

I bet he would have tackled Floyd at midfield on that 91 yard touchdown reception.

The worst coaching staff?? You can have your opinions all day long but I think this one is a stretch...it has been half a season and the team seems to be all for Bradley as are a lot of the fans...Why are you so invested in Stanzi?  Are you related or something?

It's strange to think this member had to settle on the user name StanziTime2.  There can't be a StanziTime and a StanziTime1 as well, can there?

There must be. I mean after all, it is Stanzi time. Even if we never realize it.

Come on, you guys really aren't sold on starting Stanzi yet? Do you guys really think there is any reason left to keep running the other two out there? Please someone explain to me the blind love of Henne and Gabbert that the Jags organization and some fans have.

I understand if you guys are offended that someone would bring up an idea that contradicts our "tank for Teddy" attitude.

Explain how Iowa isn't one of the 3 or 4 best colleges at producing NFL talent? Seriously?

Stanzi may have gone to Iowa but StanziTime2 went to Troll So Hard University.

Name me 3 or 4 colleges that have been as consistently successful the last 15 or so years in producing NFL talent. Please.
