Will the world end in 100 days? Sounding of ancient trumpet in York warns of Viking apocalypse on 22 February 2014
 • Legend has it that on this day, the god Odin will be killed by the wolf Fenrir
 • The soil and the sky will be stained with poison and the sea will rear up
 • Prior to the apocalypse, three freezing winters would follow each other
 • The sound of the horn is supposed to call the sons of Odin to the battlefield, where Odin will ultimately be killed

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

Interesting read.

From a literary standpoint the Norse Apocalypse has many comparisons to the Christian Apocalypse.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."

I hope Sears has an apocalypse sale. I could use some new tools.

My cousin went to an apocalypse party the last year. Everyone there was pretty upset when it didn't happen. She told them "C'mon, don't look like that! It's not like it's the end of the world!

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

They know me by first name at Harbor Freight. I have a 301 piece Pittsburgh Pro tool set that has paid for itself many times over. Whenever I need the odd and end tool, that is my first stop. I just got a really nice floor jack from there a few weeks ago.

For being the end of the world, these apocalypses are remarkably underwhelming.

Like when Cullen said Derrick Harvey was going to get 12-16 sacks a couple of years ago?

Except Cullen never said anything even remotely like that. The 12-16 sacks thing was a stupid meme from this very forum.

Someone on this board said they saw Cullen at a restaurant and spoke with him for a few minutes and he supposedly said Harvey would get 12-16 sacks. That is the origin of the meme.

He may or may not have said it. Frankly I don't really care because it is funny either way.

Maybe. I said it could have been false. Doesn't really matter. It could be true too. We will never know.
