No, but pending on the amount of narcotics someone ingested they might think that that is a possibility.

You're joking right?

I like Quarles, but he's likely a round 2-3 guy.  Not top 2-3 overall guy, like Clowney.

Clowney isn't very good. He made his mark with a single tackle in last year's bowl game.

Explain this.....

There's no sugar-coating it.

Plus, the old ball coach factor.

You'd be crazy to deliberately draft Derrick Harvey 2.0. We've got a stack of almost a sack guys.

Quarles compares to Warren Sapp in his prime. He should be the ranked as the first or second DT in this draft.

That still doesn't change the fact that Clowney will be a top three pick and Quarles wont even sniff the first round.  That's the point.

For what?

When I see a coach with the proven track record of Stever Spurrier addressing the media holding a piece of paper, essentially looking like a downed US pilot making a confession on Vietnam TV, I smell a rat.

Ultimately, nobody has cared to view the video and provide any kind of fair evaluation.

That's because the video indicates that Quarles is, indeed, much better at his position than Clowney is at his.

Five NFL executives? Well, let's see how some of these pump and dump college football "beast" defenders are doing....

Melvin Ingram? 1.5 sacks in 24 games. Dion Jordan? One sack as a sub within the last two minutes of the half versus Cleveland in September. Jarvis Jones? One sack as a sub in November versus Buffalo on second and more than eight.

And Quarles is just one of the out-of-focus guys on the tee shirt.

Actually, you should. There's no reason whatsoever to keep harping and harping about Clowney. He's not as advertised. He is not productive.

The video provides direct visual evidence that Clowney is over-rated.

I assure you, it's not just me.

Clowney's draft stock is going to tumble due to this season.

I don't care what some supposed execs had to say, his lack of production this season is a serious red flag. And trust me, teams will take note.

So I guess last season Clowney was good at his position? Since we're going by "production " and statistics, and all.

I suppose somehow his talent level dropped over the course of a summer. Weird, I didn't know that could happen.

And I guess Jarvis Jones actually IS a very good pass rusher. Because he posted phenomenal numbers at UGA and his production was his best factor coming out of college. And that success has really translated to the pros, hasn't it?

You know what, I like your argument. Let's stop evaluating intangibles and talent, and stick with straight statistics.

Disruption is production my friend, you can't measure Clowney's impact on stats alone, he's a disruptive force on the defensive line and makes everyone around him better. If his motor consistently runs high he'll have a chance to be one of the best Defensive Lineman in the history of the NFL.
