Keep or Drop Trent

#1

Trent Richardson has yet to really take off, but the Colts haven't really been in position to allow for much running since he's had time to get acclimated with the team. With the Colts OL ranking at the bottom of the league in run blocking, is it time to just cut my ways with Trent, or should I hang onto him for when conditions get rougher during fantasy playoffs? Keep in mind here that my RBs as a whole suck. I have Gore, but behind him are basically a bunch of scrubs.

If anyone is willing to trade with you accept it..if not drop him and pick up someone like Andre Ellington

My league is thin as hell at RB, which is why I'm struggling here. I actually traded Ellington to get Trent several weeks ago, and yeah I totally realize that was a bad move.

After Gore, my best RB is Rashad Jennings, and he's only be good for a couple weeks until McFadden returns. After him I have Shonn Greene, James Starks and Dennis Johnson, and I'm tempted to waive all three. Unfortunately the wire isn't much better. I'm hoping to pick up Mark Ingram, but chances are he's gone to someone with higher waiver priority. After that I'm looking at the Bucs Bobby Rainey and Brian Leonard, and I still may not be able to get either. Jonathan Stewart is out there, but he doesn't look to be any better than Trent so far while playing second fiddle to DeAngelo Williams. Mike Tolbert is a guy I recently waived to get Shonn Greene, but he's never going to get more than 8 to 10 points a game, and even that looks iffy when you look at his tough remaining schedule.

This week I plan to waive James Starks to get a TE while Vernon Davis recovers from a concussion. I also plan to waive Dennis Johnson to upgrade to one of those Bucs RBs if I can get either, and I'm thinking I should target Rainey over Leonard. My last move is to waive
waive Shonn Greene if I can upgrade to Mark Ingram, but what I'm considering here is waiving Trent Richardson instead of Greene. As for someone else trading for Trent, it appears I'm the only one in my league stupid enough to do that.

BTW, as far as a TE to play next week if Vernon is out, I'm seriously thinking about starting Marcedes vs the Cards. With the Cards CBs shutting down WR after WR, it turns out that the Cards are allowing more points for TEs than any other team. I could totally see the Jaguars having to throw to Marcedes, and he's been coming on lately looking impressive when he has caught the ball. I can totally see him getting a TD in this game. What do you think?

My other choice at TE would be either TE in the Vikings-Seahawks game. The Vikings TE Carlson just had a carreer day last week, but the Seahawks are one of the best teams vs TEs. On the flip side, the Sehawks TE Zach Miller is only a few games back from beign injured facing a Vikings D that allows almost as much points to TEs as the Cards.

Delanie Walker is also available, but I don't like his matchup vs the Colts who are a top five team vs TEs.

So any RB or TE advice you can offer will help.

One last thing...

I'm still going with only Peyton as my QB since he's expected to play, but I've been pondering picking up Case Keenum just in case something were to happen to Peyton. To do so, however, I'd almost have to waive Trent.

It's getting close to decision time. I actually think I'll keep Dennis Johnson at least a couple more weeks while letting Trent Rich go instead.
