Game Balls

(This post was last modified: 11-10-2013, 06:58 PM by jaguarmvp.)

It feels really good to not go down as one of those horrible 0-16 teams and beat the Titans in the process.

So who is getting game balls today?  My take

Bradley:  The defense won the game so I'm giving Bradley the game ball.  The defense stepped up and created many turnovers

Will Blackmon:  This guy is our starting corner of the future.  PAY DA MAN

Gratz:  Coming back off injury in his first full game in a long shot and he gets yet another pick.  Another CB of the future

Cyprien:  By far his best game of the season

Poz:  Had an excellent game including an early strip that set the pace for the game

Geno Hayes:  Played great today.

I'm sure there are some other unsung hero's once I watch the game again but good job boys

No game ball for Chad Henne for leading the Jags to their first win?  /sarcasm

He did his best to save our draft position but the Titans just kept committing personal fouls.

I don't put the blame for this on Henne.

Marcedes played good. Dude blocked better than any of our o-lineman today.

Awesome stiff arm by Lewis on his big catch, too. No, I take that back. That was more than a stiff arm, he just grabbed the defender and tossed him aside.

That set the tone.  How many times on zero win teams would the guy just go out of bounds.  Mar just threw the guy and said, "Let me eat, 4-letter-word-for-a-female-dog-that-the-censor-software-does-not-like.

Nice post, but I'm trying to figure out if you can't count or can't spell.

If Caldwell is doing his job, this will be the case.

Will Blackmon absolutely was the game winner.  Great play by him.  The whole team did well, but I didn't expect the D to come out like gangbusters this week.  I was very impressed with our toughness.  Just a good week to be a Jag!!!

I'll enjoy this Today,

and worry about the future tomorrow

That was Play of the Year to date for the Jags. I wished my mom was home to see it. While waiting for the ensuing kickoff, I thought, "Blackmon scored a touchdown."

Now do you like our third round pick?

Even if there was not holding in the end zone, the Titans would have been stopped for no gain and had a third and 10 coming up. But that safety prevented overtime so I want to give the guilty player a game ball lol.

Geno Hayes played great today. I have been underwhelmed all season with Hayes play so it was good to see.

No, one punt doesn't change the fact that it was a bad pick.

Um.... I still don't like our third round pick.

He also had a 29 yard punt.

The QB we drafted him over is one of the best in the league.
