***OFFICIAL Jaguars @ Titans Game Day Thread***

#1

Hi, Jaguars fans!  Smile  Hope all of you are enjoying your Veterans' Day weekend!   Our Jacksonville Jaguars come back from their bye week, as they are in Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans, still seeking their first regular season win of 2013.

Sunday is the 38th regular season meeting between the teams, but the Titans lead the overall series 21 games to 16. Jaguars last won at LP Field by the score of 17-6, back on December  12 , 2005.  Jags have won only four of 29 games played since the teams played at LP Field in 1999.

NO injuries to both the Jaguars and the Titans, as the NFL salutes our US soldiers on Military Appreciation Month throughout November, as all NFL teams may wear authentic NFL  camopflaged apparel.  Restore The Roar, and GO JAGUARS!!!!!    Smile  :woot:    B)  Big Grin

One fact that I had no idea about until this evening is Tennessee has averaged the 2nd highest amount of points in 4th QTR of games in the NFL,  through this point of the season.   This despite QB Jake Locker missing two games:

The Detroit Lions have one of the NFL’s most potent fourth-quarter offenses.

Their 74 points in the final quarter ranks fifth in the NFL. But because New England (80 points) and Dallas (75) each have played nine games, the Lions (5-3) actually rank third based on scoring average, behind Denver (115) and Tennessee (85).

I know I mentioned this just about every week last year and no one ever responds... But...

Is AmeliaIsland a bot? I mean no offense by that, since if it is a bot, it's an incredibly useful one. I just find it odd that the account has existed for 7 years and hasn't made a single thread or post that wasn't either informational or a game thread. No opinions, no subjectivity. Then, it disappears for pretty much the entirety of the off-season and comes back on week 1 without a hitch in the wagon

Either way, it's awesome to have someone on point with the gamethreads every week.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Titans 24, Jaguars 3 at the half.

That's when I check out and go hit the driving range.

I think we should be allowed a forfeiture option at the coin toss.

The jaguars win the toss and elect to not play.

It will be interesting if we lose while playing well, like the Denver game.

Or are we going down in flames?

Tampa seems picked to win.

anyway, here we go into Round 2 of this season.

Let's Go Jags!

This will be highlighted about how the Titans are suddenly serious playoff contenders this year and the Jaguars fall to 0 and Jacksonville again. A positive is that this game is on the road.

Titans   34

Jaguars  6

I've given up on reasons to be optimistic about the team this season.

No pain, no gain.

The Thumbtacks have a legit squad and CJ2K seems to be shaping into good form. Titans have big game on ground today prevailing 32 - 10.
