Eye surgery for Mike Zimmer

#41

Quote:One possibility to help make the trip as comfortable and quick as possible would be traveling with a Madden type of bus that the HOF Coach used in his latter days as a TV game analyst.  With these accommodations, Mike Zimmer would be able to do some work if his health situation is good enough.

If such a bus can be rented for one week, of course. I have no idea where the Vikings could get one.

We are looking too far ahead here. Is it even a good idea to work at the game?

One thing for sure,  the Wilf family can afford a fleet of specialty buses.

In answer to your question,  the final decision should be made by the doctor ( s ) who is treating Mike Zimmer if the Vikings and Zimmer decide they want him coaching the game even though he can't fly to Jacksonville.    .

Is it definite he can't fly to Jacksonville?

An official announcement hasn't been made but it seems highly unlikely.

It's official: Mike Zimmer was cleared to fly with the team.

It's very encouraging news.   Yet,  based on what was written,  at least in the current version of the article,  it mentions Mike Zimmer is expected to fly to Jacksonville for the upcoming game.

Everyone who wears purple and yellow must be happy about that. Very rarely does something that was expected not happen.

As long as Mike Zimmer and the Vikings listen to Zimmer's doctors,   everything should work out for the best in terms of the travel decision.

I am confident they are doing the right thing for him. One thing that helps is having a long week.
