Why not Petty?

Bryce Petty out of Baylor comes from a good system for developing QB's (RG III), but this kid is insanely accurate. If Bridgewater is not available, maybe the Jags take a look at this guy?

One guy succeeding doesn't really make it a proven system for NFL talent. What's Nick Florence up to these days?

Art Briles' offense is unstoppable at this point and it doesn't have a lot to do with who's slinging the football.

Who slings the ball has everything to do with the teams success, ie our Jags

I honestly haven't watched Petty's cut ups yet, but some well respected draftniks on twitter say he is actually a legit prospect. Probably even a first rounder if he waits until next year.

A lot of people talked about Nick Florence possibly breaking into the first round at this point last year.

Florence not being in the NFL was his own choice. So it's not really a valid comparison. :thanks:  http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/columni...otball.ece
