The Walking Dead

Quote:I never read any of the comics so everything that happens is new to me, I'm just saying it would be one heck of an arc if they did.
It would be crazy for sure but the show revolves around Rick. Without him, who would be the main character? Daryl? Carl?

If Daryl becomes the main focus people will get sick of him too. Nobody likes Carl now as it is so I don't see that happening.

I'm going to guess that Rick will never die on the show. Especially considering things that happen to him in the comic that don't in the show.

I doubt Rick ever dies I'm just thinking outside the box.

The shows killed people I didn't expect before, Rick's wife Laura for example, that one caught me off guard.

I think you mean Lori. She became easily expendable after Shane was killed.

I did not find her attractive. I remember one episode when Daryl called her Olive Oyl and I was dying laughing because that is a great comaprison. A stick figure all knees and elbows.

Andrea was far hotter. Michonne and Maggie are too.

Michonne is thinner than Lori.

I expected Lori to die though that is because of comics, just not so soon in season 3. Though I can't rely on the comics too much when it comes to deaths. Some characters that are still alive in the comics got killed in the show and vice versa. Rick won't be going anywhere though. He is the main character of the Walking Dead.

So, how many of you are "The day Daryl dies is the day I stop watching" people? Because I know a lot of people who say that.

Not me. Still plenty of interesting/kickass characters to pull from the source material.

Daryl is my favorite character but I wouldn't stop watching regardless of who they kill off.

Once I get into a show I can't stop I have to see the end, I think the only shows I've ever given up on are either sitcoms, or something on NBC like Hero's.

oh and I hated the way they ended Dexter, great show other then that.

Oh man Heroes was like the only show I really gave up on too. I turned off the tv in frustration, when they introduced the long lost twin with ice powers. Writers Strike completely ruined that show.
