Who do you think will win?

I think LSU wins. I don't see Florida being able to move the ball all that well vs. the LSU Defense, and I think that LSU will have some moderate success when they have the ball.

I see LSU winning, but not by much.

That LSU defense is suspect. Florida's D will keep them in every ball game.

I hope you're right.

I have never been so wishy washy from week to week on a Gator team.I never expected the type of game last weekend. Pleasantly surprised you could say.

Should be a good game. I think it'll be a low scoring game. 17-10 Florida

Yeah, the LSU Defense has some issues but I am not all that worried about Florida's Offense. This may be a mistake on my part, but it's just my take. And I agree that Florida's Defense will keep them in games, I just think that LSU will be able to pull out just enough Offense to win this one.

Then again, I thought DeShawn Wynn was going to be a viable NFL RB as well.

LSU's defense is young, but they make plays in the second half to keep the game within reach.  The offense has trouble running the ball in the first normally, until adjustments in the second.  My prediction, close (1 td down) going into the half, LSU wins 41 - 23.

Gators are like the Jags.  They improve when the starting QB is injured.

leftwich is out, garrard comes in and the team gets better.

garrard is out, mccown/blaine come in and the team gets worse.

blaine is out, henne comes in and the team puts up better numbers.

all of the above is out and we get a winner, i hope.

if one thing comes out of this rebuild, i hope that gus and dave build a team that can survive without their top flight QB.  I'd love to see a dominating d like the gators have.

LSU at this point needed an outstanding offense to offset the inexperience on defense, but i have hope they will be a top defense next year.

How many gators are expected to go pro, on the defense?

Any game @LSU is always a tough game. I'm going to be very interested to see how Tyler Murphy handles the crowd in Death Valley.

My prediction...

Gators 28

LSU     21

I think the Gators will have a couple of special team/defensive TD's and score a couple of offensive TD's as well. At least I hope.

This will be a tough one for sure.

That is not how it works. Chad Henne is inconsistent - terrible some days, terrific others, but usually average, just like a typical backup quarterback. Before he arrived, we were awful without Garrard.

Getting pumped as the game gets closer. This will be Tyler Murphy's first big test.

23-20 Gators.

I think it will be a hard-nosed, smash mouth type of game with multiple turnovers.

Have you seen LSU play this year? Their defense is not very good like they have been in the past, I think FL defense will hold LSU offense low enough for FL offense to stay in it and win.

Mettenberger has a guy wide open downfield and overthrows him badly. Terrible throw.

I think it is stupid that LSU numbers their yard lines every 5 yards.

Florida has to do a much better job of stopping the run. They can't keep getting gashed for 5 and 6 yards at a time. Also, if Teddy would have just dropped the ball like Mettenberger did, there would be a 10 page thread about how overrated he is.
