Brian Hoyer

Nothing official yet, but word is going around that he may have torn his ACL.
That would be a huge blow for the Browns, who have won three in a row. Also means Weeden is back at QB and the team might even look into Freeman. Sucks for the Browns and their fans. I wonder if this means they still draft another QB high next year? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
If they are smart they will. Then either hang onto Hoyer as the veteran QB to help bridge the rookie or dangle him as trade bait with the limited decent tape he has shown.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Hoyer just goes to show you how terrible Gabbert really is. This scrub comes in and lights it up and Gabbert can barely avoid a three and out.

I never realized how horrible Gabbert is until now. Thank god for Hoyer, i hope Caldwell has been watching him too! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
In Brian Hoyer's draft, the network (ESPN?) did one of those in the home cameras and interviewed him all day. He was hoping to go as high as the third round IIRC and had his *lovely* girlfriend with him, sitting there very pretty and smiling. As the day wore on and he didn't get drafted- 3rd round, 4th round, 5th, 6th- she got more and more disgusted. He got more animated, talking on the phone, walking around the room, etc. Her body language said it all, crossed arms, smug look....
He went undrafted. I hope he ditched her. Anyway, it's a bad break for him. He learned behind TB in NE and bounced around a little before getting and taking advantage of his chance. Now this. I feel bad for the guy and hope he can come back from it.
Season Ticket holder since 2004.

They have plenty of QBs to choose from in next years draft, plus they have 2 first round picks

And were together since High School. Not sure how you think you can get a read on someone from a few shots on television.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
