I think Chester A. Arthur should be ranked higher.  After all, he did make it into a Die Hard movie.

Interestingly, on LBJ... I had him several spots lower, but moved him up after reading about how he's basically blown away every POTUS since FDR in just about every category you can think of... margin of victory... approval ratings... national debt... unemployment... easing severe global tentions. He's like the ultimate Fantasy POTUS if we were playing for points. ...highly underrated.

Is this from personal memory?

My personal favorite is William Henry Harrison, whose inaugural speech was almost longer than his presidency.

Anyone who rocks this look, especially while serving as POTUS, is automatically #1 in my book.

Nixon is way too high. Forget Watergate. Nixon gave us the EPA, price controls on beef, and under him DDT was banned which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of people (mostly African).

Forget political parties man he held the country together in the darkest of days. After lincolns assassination it would have been so easy to see society dissolve into civil war again. Johnson upheld pardons for the condfederate sates and probably more than anyone is the reason we stil have a union.

I don't think you know who LBJ was? He's pretty much the grandfather of your modern day welfare state.
