Any FA TEs next year? We have other draft priorities, but I could see a FA acquisition or look at ... UDFA

Both Brandon Pettigrew and Tony Scheffler are scheduled to be UFA's in 2014.      Pettigrew is coming off a strong performance against the Bears.     But last season and the beginning of this season,   he has been far too inconsistent when it comes to catching the ball and securing the ball from fumbles.       Pettigrew is an asset as a blocker.      How Pettigrew performs the rest of this season will go along way in how the Lions proceed with him in 2014.

As for Tony Scheffler,  he's basically a one dimensional TE,   as he's not much of a factor as a blocker.    So far this season,    Scheffler has had 2 key drops.     My guess is the Lions will move on without him,   especially with the emergence of UDRFA TE Joseph Fauria.

Being that Lions TE Coach Bobby Johnson was the Jaguars TE coach in 2012,   it wouldn't surprise me if Marcedes Lewis is another Jaguars player that ends up with the Lions.    But it won't be at a contract close to what Lewis is now getting.

What about Jimmy Graham? Saints going to be able to afford him and Brees?
