The Jaguars have to start Henne from here on out. He makes games entertaining.

Its time to put Gabs back in.  At this point we need to evaluate him to be the 2014 backup. He has a year remaining when Henne is done.....

<P align=center>Gentlemen, this is a football. It is simply blocking and tackling.

Gabbert will continue to start as long as he is healthy enough, which may not be every game with this o-line.

I expect the outcry on the message board for the guy that got beat out and once again failed to show he's a compelling player will begin anew the next time Gabbert does something other than complete a long pass for a TD to a triple covered WR.

Gabbert is still bad.. no matter how bad the other QB is. Stop trying to cover it up.

Both stink so it doesn't matter. I do think Henne is a better QB when the team is down 20 in the fourth quarter and could help pad Shorts' stats enough to get him to the Pro Bowl.

One has nothing to do with the other.

I'm just pointing out the reality of how things will play out around here and the Jaguars' situation.

Evaluate him for 2014 backup?  Lol why would they resign a known scrub, I'd rather they evaluate Stanzi and Scott for that position

Since we're nitpicking stats, here are a couple of good ones.

Jaguars 3rd down offensive efficiency: 32% (16-50)

Jaguars 3rd down defensive efficiency: 33% (13-39)

Just sayin...

Its going to be Bridgewater (or other top QB prospect) as the starter, Stanzi as the backup and Matt Scott as 3rd qb/PS

Who'd a thunk people would be complaining about OL when they spent 2.2 on a player to strengthen it. OL overrated all day, errday.

I'm to the point that I'd like to see Gabbert back in there if/when he gets healthy.  Only this time, mandate that he throws at least 5 passes per game beyond 15 yards AND stress the fact that if he throws and Int that it doesn't matter.   Show him a highlight reel of Favre and tell him to just go out and throw it around.   ..... just once, improvise and make a play.

He already does throw downfield more often than Henne. If guys will stop dropping passes or running the wrong routes or having penalties away from the ball he'll be okay.

And the final score was 45-17, so the second half was 21-17. This just goes to show how much of an improvement Gus has made WRT the halftime adjustments over Mularkey. Smile

First half play calling by Jed was not impressive.
