You Want Your Players To Fight

Gus expects his players to fight every play, for what, to win the game. Please tell me why he would send a signal to his players that I want you to keep fighting but from this point going forward (approx 9 minute mark) we can't win.
These are young guys that want to win. It's why they compete. Try the onside kick even though the win is a long shot. Don't quit the game and expect the players to keep fighting.

Did anyone else but me see the offense improving somewhat today? Admit it or not, we do not have a good enough team to compete. Gus Bradley has been trying to tell us for months this won't be easy.
BTW, our terrible offense actually scored two touchdowns on SEA's defense. Did SF score even one TD vs SEA last week?

We did a lot better offensively than I expected. 17 points against a strong defense is a major improvement over the first two weeks.
