Do We See Stanzi Today?

Between that mean D line from the Hawks, Clemons coming back to flatten Henne and a potential load of garbage time is there a good shot at seeing our American hero this afternoon?

I certainly hope so. Not because of injury . Because of henneroid.

Hopefully.  When it becomes painfully obvious in the third quarter that there is no hope, maybe Gus will trot him out to gauge his abilities and grasp of the play book.  If the seachickens are going to treat this like a preseason game, we might as well too.

I'd love to see a stanzi appearance. Might as well see what we got if we are getting whipped and are going I be trying to air it out.

I think Stanzi takes over for good after the bye week. Let the two who won't be here next year play the tough games, then roll out the unknown guy to play out the year. Maybe we get something out of Stanzi for the future.

Unless Stanzi shows he's solidly capable I see all three QBs gone next year.

If that is the situation can we at last get the Jaguars media to admit what we have known all along?  Namely, this years Jaguar QB situation is the biggest joke I can remember in the NFL.

If you don't have a line or a mobile QB. You don't have time to extend plays. Not saying either Chad or Blaine is elite at this point or even great. Just not all eithers fault. A QB needs time to throw the ball. And more importantly the receivers have to catch the ball.

I don't think you can go with draft pick and Matt Scott next year, Stanzi could be the back up if he plays well this year.

I expect Stanzi to come in for an injured Henne.

I don't think Stanzi has ever seen a snap during the regular season.  If he does get in it will be something to watch.  Until that time he remains a positive unknown.

I haven't seen the "Jaguar media" indicate otherwise.  I think everyone recognizes the situation for what it is right now.

Kepp Henne in against these guys, bring in Stanzi when he can get a fair look.
