The Trivial Annoyances Thread

"One size fits most" on socks is a big fat lie. Also, "fits sizes 4-10" is a lie. Why can't socks be sized relative to shoe size?!
I wear a size 10-11 shoe depending on the brand. My Birkenstocks, both clogs and sandals, are a 40N (narrow) which is around an American size 10. My Altra sneakers are a size 11. My boots are 10.5 IIRC. My feet will not fit into a shoe smaller than a 10 so why on earth should I have to try to stretch a sock on that, at best fits a size 7? A sock range of 9-11 would be perfect but can I find any? Nope. I found some years ago but they are now worn out and I need to find more. Do guys have a better range when it comes to these things? |
