The Trivial Annoyances Thread
|
Definitely not trivial but very much annoyed.
Every property in our county (and in the state IIRC) recently went through market value appraisals and our property went from being valued at $83,410 to $127,500. This is land we inherited from hubby's grandmother when she died in 2017. It has a small house that is uninhabitable. 1/3 of the property is swamp and unusable. There are so many things wrong with the place, too many to list, it's unreal. No one in their right mind would buy it for more than maybe $65K. And some jerktard says it's worth $127.5K? And we get to pay that major increase in taxes?! BS. We will be appealing this nonsense. We don't even live there. We'd sell it if there weren't issues with family that I won't go in to here. I'm so pissed off. |
