That being said, I wouldn't wish what he's been diagnosed with on my own worst enemies.  I watched my father in law fight this for a year before it finally took him, and it's an utterly brutal, painful way to die.  From the sounds of it, he's got a particularly aggressive form of the disease, just as my father in law did.

I do enjoy how our resident socialists/democrats feel the need to turn everything back on Trump.  He's living rent free in their heads right now.  The president issued a heartfelt statement on McCain.  He's capable of separating politics from the personal.  It's a shame others can't do the same.
Trump called McCain a "Fake POW".

Not surprising a lot of the Trumpalites on here hate McCain's politics because he was one of the few republicans to call out Trump

He didn't call him a "Fake POW".  He just called into question the "hero" label, which was just another stupid Trump comment that probably sounded better in his head than when it came out.

Not surprising a leg humping Cankle lover would think otherwise.

Conservatives don't like McCain's politics because he sucked as a presidential candidate.  He sold out conservatives and ran to the left of center because he bought into the media hype that he was some sort of renegade.  The guy has zero political spine.

As far as his war hero record is concerned, I'm not going to call his credentials into question.  He spent years as a POW and whether he got any sort of special treatment or not, there were lasting scars as a result of his imprisonment that are worthy of hero status.

The footage of McCain betraying his country from Hanoi is available to anyone. It's not disputed that McCain cooperated with his captors. As for his political career, he is strictly a neocon who believes in endless unwinnable wars, serving only the banks, the weapon factories, and the deep state. McCain is a CIA mouthpiece and an enemy to the Constitution. But of course this is just one person's opinion.

McCain is clearly still healthy enough to screw over millions of Americans.

They've already made their fix clear.

Single payer.

For democrats, more government is always better, because if there's any entity that can solve problems and make things better, it's government.

Single Payer is a pipe dream right now. There needs to be some common ground. These people drawing a line in the sand and not being reasonable is ludicrous.

Which is working so well in the UK.

Oh you're fat? No care for you.
You're a smoker? Sorry all out of money...
Your baby is dying? Well instead of trying to save it, we're gonna force you to pull the plug.

No thanks.
I'd rather just pay high premiums and deductibles.

I'd rather just watch Obamacare implode. We've been paying the penalty every year but when my wife tried to qualify they said we didn't make enough to cover the payments.
