If anyone who's a fan of the series has yet to play this, I recommend doing so ASAP.
The story, emotion, ending are all perfect. Naughty Dog certainly knows how to tell a story when they want to. I don't want to give any spoilers, but there were times this game made me actually feel like I was personally responsible for decisions, good or bad. There was one point I actually had to take a break, sit back, and just say "damn, I actually feel really bad right now" There aren't many games that can pull on your emotions that well.
