Never heard of the guy despite livening in the town he writes from. But hell, as a Jag fan, I'll take whatever praise they get. I'm just hoping that this year is the year us fans actually see the hype on the field. I'm not even asking for super bowl. Just to be a team that opponents don't look at as a bye.

He's covered the NFL for decades as publisher of Pro football weekly. I have trusted that publication for a long long time. Their draft coverage, with the late Joel Buschbaum, was top notch. I was not aware of that. Thank you for informing me. I guess that makes it even better. With the perceived talent on the roster, it's hard not to see the team doing well. At this point for fans, I think it's more so a matter of a scorned heart wanting to be proved wrong. I for one, am hopeful for a 2015 Blake and 10-6. I'll certainly take 8-8 with a new QB next year. It doesn't even have to end in a Super Bowl appearance (though it would be great). A winning season would go a long way. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

On a side note, they couldn't get a more recent picture to accompany the article? Maybe that was on purpose, our last winning season.
Boy, that article was pretty light on substance. That said, the national media hasn't been crowning us these past two offseasons for no reason. We've added plenty of talent, now it's up to the coaches to make it work together. I believe we're consistent quarterback play away from a 10+ win season with the players we currently have on the roster.

I don't think it was supposed to be this great comprehensive treatise on the strengths and weaknesses of each football team. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
