Before I yield to your intellectual prowess, can you answer this question for me? Are governments only socialist if they followed Lenin's protocols with, say, labor unions? If the answer is no, then then why would one bother doing such a study?

The answer is no, but the reason the study would be meaningful anyways is that Nazism did not last on this earth long enough for us to understand its equilibrium condition. We learn meaningful things about Nazism based upon what they did, and what they did was always steps towards implementing some final state. so we can only compare it to things that the Soviets did as they were first implementing their agenda.

also maybe you shouldn't be assuming things about people based on the degree they hold?

I know you're being sarcastic about me having intellectual prowess and being learned, but, maybe I am, compared to you, and maybe I'm not. But even if I hold a master's degree in history, I could be wrong about this, and you could be right.
