Now, you're right that the transcript is more vague, but it says "my lawyer is going to call you." And we know that his lawyer wanted Ukraine to investigate Biden.

Seriously, I don't remember JJ (or any other poster not a member of #orangemanbad) saying that. What might have been said is that it would have been a legitimate request, and far from a matter worthy of impeachment. 

Still touting your presumption, and one not based on what we know. If Trump wanted Ukraine to investigate Biden he would have asked during the phone call. It was clear from what he said then that he wanted Ukraine to share any information they had on Crowdstrike* and Bursima with Barr. That does not request Ukraine digging up any additional information beyond what was already known, which is what "investigate" implies.

*Crowdstrike has since admitted that they don't have any solid evidence that Russia hacked the DNC server (or even that it was hacked), although that was claimed publicly over and over.
