Jimmy G. — he's a west coast QB. He might not work well in any other system right away.

McCarron — he actually has regular season experience, and did a solid enough job. The question is can he be traded for without giving up too much? Not likely. Every team knows the situation, after all. Then there's the chance that the Bengals run out of patience with Dalton, seeing as he has yet to win a playoff game.

Hundley — NO. EXPERIENCE. PERIOD.

Guys, our savior unfortunately is not going to come from somewhere else. We are stuck with what we got. I still believe we can win some games with our D and average QB play, so hopefully Bortles gets his act together or Henne becomes a Garrard story or Allen becomes the next Tom Brady. So basically our odds are 1/1000000000000000

Man, I would give up a 1st and a 3rd for Jimmy G.

I don't think we'll trade for anyone, but I do think we will throw a large pile of money in the direction of Jimmy G or Kirk Cousins next year.

Give me Brandon Allen for the year and see what happens
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

And the Pats would laugh at you and hang up the phone.

The Patriots do not run a west coast offense. They run in the Erhardt/Perkins system

Jimmy G would not last 8 games behind this OL... neither will Chad...

That seems to be an annual tradition under Caldwell, yet it hasn't helped this team get better anywhere but on paper so far.

That being said, in week 2 of the preseason, the season is already over.  That's got to be some sort of a record.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

There are no legit QBs that can be had in a trade. Forget about wasting draft picks on more trash. Those picks need to be there for whomever the Jaguars have making picks next April, and if the Jaguars are unlucky they might not be in position for a franchise passer next year, either.

The key is that the reaching and wasting of picks has to stop and the recognition of ability when it's staring them in the face has to start.

Take Roethlisberger or Rodgers, not Williams and Mattloaf.

Trading picks for a qb now would be a waste. 2 weeks to develop chemistry with the offense is a recipe for disaster. Would rather use picks to draft a qb next draft.

The only answer is Colin Kaepernick at the moment.

Draft picks, 1st round qb's, are over rated. Heck....Bortles is a 1st round qb.

Every Qb is a crap shoot. I much rather have a proven commodity.

This is Garrard and Leftwich again.

Garrard takes over as a game manager and now Henne does the same. Solid defense and a run game. Then draft a QB next year.

My thought last night exactly when Henne came in and dropped a perfect pass on Cole.
