More than half of arrested anti-Trump protesters didn't vote in Oregon

Portland, Ore.—More than half of the anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records.

At least sixty-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state.

Did you see Stephen A. Smith lose his mind over Kaepernick not voting? I can't stand the guy personally, but he made some really good points.

If you can't read, it's hard to figure those pesky ballots out.

I did see that and cheered him on a little bit. I also saw Kaep's response to people who were criticizing him. He basically said he's not going to participate in the system that is the oppressor.

This is a sad reality. Is this a new(ish) thing or has it been going on for a while? It just doesn't make sense to me that people do this to deliberately cause problems. I am not going to waste my time protesting against something I have no interest in or it's just not my fight.

I did joke to my husband the other day that if I can't find employment soon I may look up some local paid protesting gig to help pay off my shoulder surgery bill. He laughed and said, "Yeah, right. That is not your thing." I agreed and we laughed at the absurdity.

In all seriousness though, I would go to one as an observer just to see and hear first hand what is going on locally but I don't hear of anything going on around here and I'm not driving for hours just to check things out. I have plenty to occupy my time around here.

there are no doubt locals participating too, but they have been conditioned to think a certain way, and they only need a TRIGGER.  they just need a push.  that's what these paid protestors are for. to get the ball rolling.

How does one go about getting a job as a paid protester? Zip recruiter? Monster?
