It's Starting Already for the Browns
|
First overall pick Myles Garret has a high ankle sprain and is slated to miss the first few weeks of the season, starting with the season opening game against the hated Steelers.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/201...le-sprain/ On top of that, the Browns have cut S Calvin Pryor after a pre practice fight with WR Ricardo Lewis http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...fter-fight Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

The loss of Myles Garett is huge from the standpoint of reducing the chances of the Browns making substantial progress this season. They should definitely err on the side of caution with the injury. This is the type of injury that could linger for months.
Unless the Browns implode in the locker room, they should retain Hue Jackson for the 2018 season. The lack of stability and continuity has set them back almost as much as their problematic personnel decisions.

Not good when you have fights in your locker room. Apparently, this isn't the first time either.
