How good can the TITANS be?

If he fan continue being solid and not turn the ball over, Jags will have a shot, but I wouldnt count on that, there defense is heing overhyped though. Their defense is good but isnt a defense that could overcome a bad QB. Thats just my opinion. There stats are pretty skewed because of that 10 sack game they had. They still give big play; and their run defense is suspect.Pretty bad post. Jags have had success in multiple ways, in spite of Bortles and because of Bortles... With Fournette and without Fournette. Defensive wins (see squeelers) and offensive wins (see bungles, clots). If Bortles can continue being solid and not turn the ball over the Jags won't just have a "shot" at the playoffs... they'll run through them. Normally... I wouldn't count on it either, except Bortles is proving a lot of people wrong. The people that hated on him from the go, and the people like me that jumped off his bandwagon this offseason. The defense isn't just good.... it's great. Sure they've had a couple miscues in the run game but have recently locked that down. Check the stats on the past few games... This isn't opinion, it is fact. In 1 game alone the Jags improved the run D from 31st to 26th. 1 game kid. The stats aren't skewed because of 1-10 sack game.. they've had 2. And they've registered multiple sacks in multiple games. They have 10 different players with at least 1 sack. and 6 players with multiple sacks. They haven't given up "the big play" since like week 4 VS the Jets. The run D has more to prove and gets a chance this week but your blind idiocy on the matter of just how good this D is is ridiculous. Take away their ‘2’ 10 sacks games, and their getting about 2.1 sacks per game for a defense that you supposely think its “greatness” and “historic” — you’re being a complete homer and breaking down total stats, when you should focus on break down stats more in halfs. You guys are pretty vunerable on offense, if teams shut down your run game, you cant count on bortles leading you on game winning drives. Defense wins championships, but its also a passing league, Bortles will have to win some of these games because you guys arent as good on defense as advertised. Overall stats mean nothing to me especially when it comes down to the Jaguars & Titans; they had one of the easiest schedules in the league. |
