Quote:Especially older players and Jimmy Graham is getting up in age.

From my point of view,  what Jimmy Graham is accomplishing now is on a level to what Adrian Peterson accomplished in 2012 when coming off a torn ACL the previous December.

Except he tore his knee up much earlier in the season and missed all of September IIRC. Adrian Peterson came back in less than nine months.

The injury Jimmy Graham came back from is that much more difficult to overcome quickly.  What Adrian Peterson did was amazing though,  hence I'm not trying to take anything aware from his accomplishments in 2012.

Adrian Peterson's comeback was amazing. He was nine yards short of Eric Dickerson's single season record. I doubt Jimmy Graham can come close to the TE equivalent.

This is one situation in which stats don't tell the whole story.   Jimmy Graham's comeback is also one for the ages.
