The Jaguars will go into their bout with the Steelers with only two quarterbacks on their roster. Jacksonville released third-string arm Ryan Nassib on Saturday.

I wonder if they plan to resign Nassib after Linder gets healthy, just keep him on speed dial, or they are done with him?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They got Nassib in long enough to know their system, coaches, receivers, etc, and now they can call him up if ever they need an emergency QB. It's not like anybody else is picking up Nassib.

I get letting him go, but for Chris Reed? Reed is not exactly someone you want to see on the field for the Jaguars during a game.

Well of course. Because no insurance is needed now. Blake is lighting it up!

After the game, they'll likely bump Reed back down to the practice squad and re-sign Nassib.
