For the Jaguars just winning enough games to not be thinking draft in October is kind of a strange season.

No. That is close to an all-time NFL record.


Have we ever taken a 44-0 lead?
Not that exact score, but 63 - 7 = 56.

Have we ever had 5 picks and 2 pick sixes in a game?
Not in the same game, but in 2013 we had two pick sixes.

Have we ever gone a whole half without a completed pass and won the game?
We never even played a whole half with only one pass attempt.

Have we ever called 18 straight running plays?
Probably. We rushed for 375 yards against the Colts.

Have we ever gone an entire quarter without a first down and scored 14 points? 
Very unlikely. I had never heard of that happening.

Yes, it is a weird season. I also can't remember a HC winning and losing every other game since getting the job.

Have we ever had a coaching staff go out of their way to play to their roster's strengths? 

I think that's why you see many of these things happening. The talent is being used more wisely. Now if they could just find some offensive consistency...

And yes, it is a weird season. Not just for the Jags. Lots of "any given Sunday" stuff happening every week league wide.
