Missed FG critical

#1

The missed call on the fumble notwithstanding, there is an opportunity to win the game with a FG if the previous FG had been made.  Hard to blame Myers, since he's had such a great year, but....they just found yet another way to lose, unfortunately, a hallmark of losing teams.

Or if we play defense on their 3rd and 34 instead of conceding 3 pts.

They should have gone for the easy FG earlier in the game.

This. myself and i'm sure most of the fanbase knew a draw or a screen was coming. Take a chance and make a big play. Instead we play prevent and give them an easy field goal

54 yarders are not easy to make.

We tried that Hurns dropped the ball. Robinson would not hustle.

what does that have to do with our defense giving up a huge play on 3rd and 34?

I almost forgot about that.  Thank you for ruining the eternal sunshine of my spotless mind.  Jerk.

Sorry miss read it.  You are talking about the screen.  That was great blocking and set up on their part.  Just like ours of 43 yards was.

They did the same thing on the Bears game.  Instead of playing an aggresive D and trying to force a punt, they play safe prevent D because they dont trust their players enough not to give up a TD on 3rd and 30 something 2 different games so they just play prevent and give than 20 free yards for a chip shot FG

The only thing most fans knew was coming was a loss.
