Matavius Bryant requesting trade

Doesn't seem like a guy Coughlin would go after but Bryant is cheap and someone who can actually stretch the field. Exactly what the Jags need.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Martavis Bryant has requested a trade.

Per RapSheet, Bryant's "teammates and coaches are well aware that he’s unhappy." Bryant struggled in the first six weeks and has been losing snaps to rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster. Bryant simply isn't the player he was before missing all of 2016 due to a suspension. Nevertheless, he should draw trade interest with a sub-$1 million base salary and lots of theoretical talent.

You can't evaluate talent. Bryant has upside to be a #1 for $1 mil.

You can't evaluate talent if you still believe in Bortles is a starter QB in the NFL.

Clearly you know more than Tom Coughlin. No wonder why Jag fans are laughing stock of NFL.

Coughlin is wise. Seasoned. Wisdom comes with pages of ages. Tom is old and stubborn. And what I KnOW he knows? Is that. This team (offense) would be worlds better with Kap, Bryant and a more "trustworthy" kicker.

I don't know about the fans but it's damn sure that our QB is.

Not really sure what your defense is for Bortles at this point, but kudos for your loyalty.

Why do people want a guy who missed an entire season for multiple drug test failures and is showing it this year?

People?

I think it's just the one guy.... that one dude... that is using Lee and Hurns are the excuses for Bortles' lackluster and borderline poor play.

Because he's an upgrade of our current #3 WR,

If he fails another drug test, nothing else matters. We have been down this road before.

Matavius Bryant is one of the fastest receivers in the NFL with great hands and route running, has the potential to be our number 1 receiver until A Rob gets back, he would shine but Antonio Browns gets all the attention from Big Ben ... we should care because Hurns is inconsistent, Lee drops every ball thrown his way and cries every down, and Dede Westbrook is on IR, and our others receivers jus aren't good.... in simple terms Bryant is much better than what we have with A Rob being out, and can stretch the field for Fournette

Martavis Bryant is a drug user and #2 WR, the job that will be filled by Dede Westbrook when he is healthy.

I'd take him..

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

I'd trade a late round pick for Bryant. You'd have him through next season at a budget rate and he can legitimately stretch the field. You can also let Lee walk in the offseason and roll with Robinson, Bryant, Westbrook, and Hurns (maybe) next year.

The one problem is that we rarely throw downfield, so his value to us takes some hit this season.

There's no one by that name in the NFL.
