Week 8 Games Of Interest

#1

Saturday, October 21st
12:00 - Louisville at FSU
A game that shocked the country last year. Louisville with the rout. Will it be the same this year? Louisville struggling on Defense.

3:30 - Syracuse at #8 Miami
#8 Miami, but they just don't look like a top 10 team at all. Can Syracuse pull off another big W after the Clemson upset last week?

3:30 - #20 UCF at Navy
Never an easy game when you have to defend a team that runs the triple option. UCF though can dump boatloads of points on Navy.

7:30 - #19 Michigan at #2 Penn State
Night game in Happy Valley with two good teams. Penn St. will run into their tough 3 opponents over next four games. This will tell us if they are for real or not.

7:30 - #11 USC at #13 Notre Dame
A classic rivalry. I like ND here

Considering Michigan needed OT to beat Indiana, I am not optimistic about their trip to Happy Valley. But they did lose to Michigan State, so a win would not surprise me.

For Penn State, this is a warmup for their rivalry game against Ohio State. If they lose, I don't have to worry too much next week.

JW, your logic makes no sense.

Navy just lost their first game to Memphis, UCF handled Memphis pretty easily. According to JW's logic UCF will beat Navy by about 30.

I don't know anything about AAC teams except UCF was ranked in the 20s last week.

Who would have thought Ohio State needs Michigan to win? GO WOLVERINES!

Oklahoma State vs. Texas

I just like watching Mason Rudolph play football.

Do you think it will be a close game or blowout?

7:30 can't come soon enough. I hate having both of my favorite teams on bye the same week.

Imagine how it feels for people that are fans of just one team.

Exactly the same way, obviously.

This year yes.  Most years you have a 2nd favorite team to watch when one is on their bye.  Fans of one team don't get that.

It is just a coincidence that Ohio State and Florida have the same bye week, but that has happened before.

I used to be a fan of one team. Those days are gone forever.

Alabama is going to be a real scary football team once Tua fully takes the reins. That dude is easily the moat talented and dynamic qb I've seen suit up for them in at least a decade.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
