Pro Bowlers?

Question

Anyone think we have a shot this year with a few different guys making it so far?

Ramsey, Bouye,Church, Gipson, Smith, Campbell, Yannick, Fournette, Robinson.

I think all these guys have strong chances to make the pro bowl. Jack, Jackson, and Parnell could be alternates.

I know it looks crazy but they are legit top 5 at each of their positions this year. All those guys are playing lights out. Now if they get in is another story.

The players that have the heights percentage of making it are Fournette and Campbell.

Players that will be snubbed are Ramsey, Gipson, Telvin, Ngakoue.

I’d say Campbell, Fournette, Ramsey, and Telvin have a decent shot.

I will eat my shoe if Jalen Ramsey gets snubbed. He's the best CB in the league on paper.

Edit: I'll let my shoe eat me if Calais gets snubbed.

Would anybody be interested to see our entire defense as a unit vs the NFC Pro Bowl offense? I bet we'd fare OK tbh. lol

I think we get 3 in. Campbell Ramsey and Fornette.

I think Ramsey, Campbell, and Telvin Smith could make the pro bowl. Also Leonard Fournette if he finishes among the league leaders in rushing.

Several other guys are worthy, but it's the Jaguars, so some of our more worthy players will get snubbed.

Calais Campbell is well known and popular among his fellow players. So I think Campbell is a lock.

Ramsey has the name recognition to win a popularity contest right now. Telvin seems to be a house hold name now as well, same with Campbell. I'd bet on those 3 as of right now.

There's at least three on defense for sure. Ramsey, Campbell and Bouye are locks. Then I think you have to start looking at guys like Smith, Jack, Ngakoue, Fowler and even Jackson. Wouldn't be surprised if Gipson or Church cracked the roster too.

If Fournette comes back from the bye week and continues his style of play he'll end up in the pro-bowl as a rookie.

So easily looking at a minimum of four players going this year. With potentially up to six or eight. What's the franchise record in one year? Isn't six or seven? Something like that back in 1999 probably. Would be nice to see that mark broken.

By the end of the season....the Jaguars will be much better known by NFL fans everywhere.
This defense is nasty.

Telvin will never make it as an OLB simply bc he's not a pass rushing LB. Those are the ones who get in at his position.

He should. He should have last year, but he won't.

Lol, this is Jacksonville. We aren't included in Pro Bowl votes.

I think the pick six may give him a shot. Those are the types of stats that the novice fan that doesn't know who he is will look at. He also has a forced fumble and fumble recovery. Calais is a lock leading the league with 10 sacks at the half way mark. T Gip might get in if he gets a couple more INTs over the next 4 weeks. Not sure on the corners. They are elite for sure but I am worried about the flashy stats for both of them. I don't know if the average fan will know how little they've been targeted. I hate that Leonard lost this week. Every hundred yard game will count for him to keep pace with Hunt and Bell.

Ramsey, Campbell, Fournette, and maaaaybe Telvin but off ball OLBs are fighting a bit uphill battle for pro bowl voting. Bouye deserves it but there are a ton of good CBs in the league right now I don't think we're getting two. He very well may get in as an alternate though.

We'll see. If they can chain a few more wins together and keep doing what they're doing they can't be ignored for much longer. I like our odds against the 49ers, Browns, Cardinals and even Seahawks now. Those are all games with shakey QB play and really, really BAD offensive line play this year.

Jags won't get a lot of love from NFL fans but I think Campbbell and 4Net get in at this point. 5 other guys deserve it at this point. I wish 4net would of been able to play against the Colts. He would of wrecked them.
